A quieter day today- feeling a little under the weather with blocked sinuses & painful symptoms holding me back! So I've written loads of postcards, taken some natural remedies kindly provided by our wonderful hosts, Gayle & Dave, and accepted the offer of a "drive in the country". So, Dave drove us out of Eltham, heading north through an area called Research and past Kangaroo Ground (I spotted a couple of kangaroos bathing in the Spring sunshine) and up into the Kinglake area. Stopped for lunch at Harry's bar and managed to eat a small portion of bangers & mash in a cosy place by the fire- nice. Then drove to Mount Sugarloaf in Kinglake National Park to enjoy the views- in the background of the photo you can see the city. It's quite hard to get your head around how vast this country is- Victoria is one and a half times the size of the UK- with a population far less (around 5 million) so it wasn't surprising to be the only people in the park today and very few cars on the road.
A good day finished off with another of Dave's homemade curry washed down with plenty of red wine.
Feel I will sleep well tonight....

Gillian A good curry and plenty of wine will knock that sinus thing on the head and that is definately evidence-based
