I have now entered a new country. got the overnight train from Paris to Port Bou after about a two hour wait got the train from Port Bou into Barcelona. interesting trip shared a cabin with 5 middle aged women and lets just say tht my French was better than their english. finally arrived in Barcelona without a hitch. the wether is just amazing after the Paris wether i couldn't belive it spent the day just wondering around acclimatising and topping up the tan, well second day i headed off to the old Nou camp all very impressive however i quickly got surreondered by a large bunch of foul mouthed Glaswegians quoting insightful comments such as f***ing hell i thought Celtic park was f***ing big and a man telling his 10 year old sun get on that f***ing couch and lat me take your f***ing picture and then you can take f***ing mine! God brits abroard don't you just love them.
Anyway when that unfortunate experience was over spent the next 2 days wondering around the city went to see the olyimpic stadium (now espanyols ground) and also looking at numerous Gaudi Masterpieces all absoultly amazing. the Sagina Famila (sorry for the spelling i have left my lonly planet)was quite odd Something very odd about seeing a brand new cathedral being built that just seems very odd, It was started in 1886 and is almost half built. i knew it was a building site but i didn't expct to see Bags of cement and fork lift trucks around. anyway from Barcelona its an overnight train to Geneva
