Tim Does The World
Back on the more conventional route but Budapest is a hugly exciting city, the Danube splits the city in two with the historic buda on one side and the commercial pest on the other. i did get stalked for about half an hour by a small child begging for some watermelon (i refused of course! it was very nice) the city is very walkable withhills on the buda side giving great views across towards the parliment. it also has some thermal pools, great markets, a very place call statue park in which old communist stautues are on display. all in all a very good few days but before long i was back on the train and heading further up the danube this time to Bratislava
