Well Vienna and the last stop on the Danube oddersy i had created. the city was a bit of a culture shock and streight away i could tell i had arrived back in western europe. the railway station was more like an airport terminal. after the delapidated building i had recently visited it was quite odd. i was a little bit disappointed with vienna. the city is nice enough but all the museaums were very expensive. so i spemt most of my time just wondering as far as this is concerned vienna was great with stunning buildings (it was also much cooler the last bearable day before this was when i was in Salzberg). i did visit kunsthauswein an odd ball museum with uneven floors and strange mosaics everywhere. i also visited what must be the most musical corner on earth. viennas main ceretry contains the graves of beethoven, schbert, brahms and also the headstone of Mozert (he is actually beried about 10 miles away) all these graves are within 20 metres of each other. on my last day in vienna i got stuck in one of the worst rain storms i have ever witnessed and shorts and tee shirt were not really up to the job. after a few days in vienna it was time to head off again to a real European highlight when i was planning this trip Prague
