Spent just three days in Buenos Aires after the woman at the tour office put the fear of god into us and told us to get our arses to Patagonia now before the big freeze!! So spent most of our time trying on wooolly jumpers, hiking boots and long johns for the cold snap ahead! Also the rain followed us from Rosario and it rained non-stop....but luckily we could hang out in our beautiful converted hostel with a marble circular stairway and old metal lift going up...

Managed to cross into Argentina legally and without being anally probed which was good. Even got stamps in our passports. This was after our second attempt to get stamps for Paraguay but instead managed to get two entry stamps for Brazil and no exit one because we lost some super important piece of paper and Paraguay actually refused us entry!! Arrived in Foz after pretty grim overnight bus journey and spent the first afternoon recovering watching some rubbish horror movie before heading out to investigate Foz nightlife.
