We woke up early to say goodbye to Laura before she left for school...we are going to miss these guys! Then Stevie had this crazy thought of making pancakes for breakfast for the rest of the family....the first two were questionable and put the whole of the english food in doubt to columbians, but then very luckily she managed to do pretty well with the rest.
The rest of the morning was spent packing, Mark feeling the effects of the jalapenos and hanging with Andres and Laura's mum and the dogs, then suddenly it was time to say goodbye and head to the airport...thankfully Mark and Andres both managed to hold it together as their bromance came to an end!
On the way to the airport Aurora treated us to our last typical Columbian meal...it didn't disappoint and we even tried the typical sausage filled with rice and cows blood...not bad!
We had minor complications at the airport but lucky enough Aurora helped us out. She was like a mum to us.
All too soon it's goodbye Coloumia...Hello Ecuador....
A cab from the airport and we are soon settled into a hostel in Quito, Ecuador's capital and headed out for some 2 for 1 cocktail pitchers and mini burgers and nachos...!!! I think our Spanish is improving.......
