Scott took the bike back and we walked up to the bus station around 8.15am to make sure we had time for breakfast before we got on the bus. I spotted a little family run restaurant opposite the bus terminal yesterday so we went there, low and behold they only sold beef or pork noodle soup... It was just like PHO BO! Same same but different, it didn't hav as much onion! Breakfast cost £1.60 for the both of us so happy days!!
We had time to spare to get to the bus, it wasn't as though we had to go far anyways.
The bus was on time, leaving at 9.15am! Only a 3 hour journey today so all good!
We are running out of clothes because everything is dirty or smells damp. We haven't really had time to wash any thing in the last week and half because of moving about so much! When we get to Chiang Mai we are going to hand them loads of washing, oh how they will be pleased! Haha.

We arrived about 12.30, the tuk tuk drivers were trying to give us the sheet of paper of set prices to which ever destination you need to get to, they cost more than what a ticket cost from Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai for three hours!
We eventually found a truck that we got for £1 rather than £3!
Chiang Mai seems nice, it has lots of flowers everywhere and perfectly cut trees in to different shapes. The place is a lot more touristy and has lots more restaurants, massage parlours and tourist information agencies. There are lot of market stalls, hence the Sunday walking market though!
The hotel is nice - and cheap!
We had some lunch, which was more expensive than what we were paying Chiang Rai but heyho it's still only £4-5.
We took a walk around the old city, there are a few temples dotted around the place but none that are very spectacular as they all seem to be having work done on them.
After a long walk up the walking market street we found a little garden area with some street stalls and had a fresh strawberry shake which was delicious!!
It's super hot here so about 4.30 we walked back and showered. Scott is watching the football tonight so out a little earlier for food. Not much conversation in him at all because he's twittering on twitter about the game so I went to bed early and watched movies on the tele.
