Accidental early start, real chance to sleep late, and I don't, what has happened to me? Did productive things tho, like checking online banking and doing washing - did you know in China they only do cold washes - so my clothes are clean, but they do not look it :) great!!! lol.
Electronics market, shouldn't buy anything, didn't buy anything, rather proud and dissappointed at the same time. There were soooo many cool gadgets, that I don't require but for some unknown reason really want. Got a new memory card for my camera, but not expensive, so can't complain.
Went to Temple of Heaven with group of people, was much more impressive than the Lama Temple, see for yourselves, pictures are up. Was really hot though, and we got there quite late, so felt as if we were rushing through it, thought it shut at 5. we left at 6 and they were still letting people in, so good knows when it actually closed. At this temple, they made sacrifices to the gods, to pray for good harvest. All the door ways also have a massive step - to stop the ghosts getting in, apparently ghosts in Asia don't have feet? random fact of the day lol.
Finally got back to the uni, and quick freshen up and out for dinner. Went to a dumpling restuarant, which was rather confusing, noone spoke english, and as you might have guessed, after only 2 weeks, our mandarin isn't exactly perfect. We didn't order enough, which is a first, we normally order 2 many dishes and look like we haven't touched them. 2night tho, we ordered 2nd's, still mega cheap, less than £2.50 each, this included the beers, and really full.
Charlies birthday, so out to a sports bar, or that was the plan at least. Because there were 5 of us heading at once, we couldn't all get in one taxi. Kieran point out the bar on the map to my taxi driver, 3 of us got in. Helen and him got in the other. We never made it to the bar. It was on a massive long road, we got dropped somewhere on it, with Kieran (a scot, I might add) trying to give us directions over the phone, and explaining what west looked like on a road sign in mandarin.
After walking along the road for at least 30 mins with still no luck, a txt arrives from him, saying "s***, ur meant to be going East, not west" with that the three of us gave up and just got a taxi back to the uni. Cheap night lol.
