so have finally arrived in China, after my uneventful flights I sail through the heat inspections with absolutely no problems, because I don't have swine flu!!!!

I'm stuck at the moment in a hotel in the 4th ring road in Beijing, we are not allowed 2 leave the grounds of the hotel - anyone caught leaving will be transported 2 airport, and asked 2 leave the country. We are here 4 7 days until they can give us the all clear. We have funky masks 2 wear, which is meant 2 be @ all times, but I'm not doing very well at that lol.

Everyone else on the course seems really nice and friendly. Just as nervous and apprehensive which is good. Got free internet access in hotel, except facebook is banned in China so can't get on it yet, supposidly I can download a file 2 make it work, not yet done that but I'll give it a shot.

Got a mobile fone - (+86)15201488755 - but don't have any of the numbers fae back home so don't expect txts sorry unless u txt me first.

Have done absolutely nothing 2day, apart fae playing uno and other cards games, we get our induction 2mo, and classes start on the sunday. Looking forward 2 that cause this sitting around makes me sleepy.

Got 2 go da now, for a temperature check, yeah!! lol, they just put a heat gun 2 your head if anyone is wondering.
