Here we are in Khaosan Road, Bangkok in the D&D Hotel. The flights were comfortable, although very tiring! Our first night out was good fun, as soon as we got here we went to the bars which are lively but not as cheap as you'd imagine. I had my first ever Pad Thai dish which was lovely, but James tells me that's only a 5/10 so I'm looking forward to trying a 10! There's a guy that plays guitar and sings in one of the top bars, and he is really good! The most crowded bar we've been in so far. We've just been looking into flights to Vietnam from Bangkok as we didn't know we couldn't fly from any other airport. It's going to cost almost 100 quid per person, but we now need to sort out our visa's again as James got us entry for the wrong month... in his words 'whoopsie!' We are going to go on a TukTuk in a minute for 10 baht each, which is pennies, on an hours tour of Bangkok to various view points which will be excellent for photo's.
