Hello all!

Well, I can't believe its been 7 years since I wrote in this site, and I smile looking at some of those older stories of our adventures. Right now I'm on the plane heading to Vegas to start our Western tour! We looking to find Utah, Four Corners and back to Vegas to gain more states on our 50 state journey!

It is such a pleasure to travel with the kids and our friends as they are older, and more responsible (most of the time..) Today, we even traveled to the Quad Cities to attend Joy's parents 75th birthday and all the way back to Midway Airport for our flight. We land in about an hour, and we'll be off to Utah after a good nights sleep! Vegas baby, here we come! More pictures and stories to follow.

Landed in Vegas - and got our bags. When we walked outside, it was 107 degrees at 9:30 at night! Liz walked outside to catch the rental car shuttle, she felt like it was the bus exhaust in her face it was so hot, but then realized it was just the outside! Another person explained it as hot blow dryer in your face at all times. Brutal! Anyway - we got the mega rental for all 7 of us, and grabbed a bite to eat at In and Out Burger and went to bed!
