So we took a bit of a slow pace today. We started by going to the post office to mail our purchases home. That was a bit of a process but it got done. I hope it arrives safely.

We then went to the Marrakesh museum which was in a beautiful old palace. It was not what I expected. I was told that it told the history of Marrakesh. It was really just a selection of artifacts and pictures.

We then went to the martekesh house of photography. Basically it’s a collection of photos from all around Morocco taken between 1880 and 1950. It was interesting to see the photos and a colour video from the fifties but it was not as good as I hoped for.

We got lost on our way back to the square again. But once we arrived back we got some lunch, ice cream, and another sweet, oh and fresh squeezed lemon aid. It was all hood but I loved my date ice cream.

Now we are back at the hotel for a two hour siesta before we head out to the story teller tonight.

Ryan air has sent us an email saying we need to be at the airport 3 hours before our flight tomorrow. So tomorrow will be a bit of a write off. I must say I’m suspicious that Ryanair is just being Ryanair rather than there being an actual need to be there that early.
