Hey everyone

Today was beach day.

We got up and got ready for our day on the beach, Christina in her bikini and Alex in his shorts. We borrowed boogie boards from reception and headed down to the beach. After a lengthy walk down the spit we eventually found the lonesome tree we sat under yesterday and christina soon started reading her book. Alex decided to go bodyboarding for the first time in Australia and had fun getting beaten around by the waves.

After our picnic we had fun writing messages in the sand and taking photos of us jumping around on the beach. By late afternoon we decided to head back as we were getting hungry. Back at the hostel we made a quick snack and sat by the pool washing the sand off our legs.

After showers and a failed attempt at recreating the amazing egg fried rice in Asia, we went to bed, surprised at how a day on the beach can make you very tired. Xxx
