The Travel Nuts Australian Adventure
Sunday 17th June 2018 - We decided to stay in Coober Pedy the Opal Capital of the world for a few days to relax and prepare for the next stage of our trip.
It's been an intersesing experience seeing the underground houses, church and opal mines. Phil also visited the towns Golf Club; to say the least is different. The greens are made from the dirt mixed with used engine oil and raked flat.

Kaye Nutman Sounds a lot like White Cliffs where we stayed for 3 night in an underground house. Watch out for the brown snakes! Hey, Don't forget to buy an opal while you can - red flecked ones are supposed to be best. Sadly mine went milky when they resized the ring and was replaced with a plain blue one. It's great to see you are doing so much and that there is so much to see. The next drive will be even more same, same, I think!
