Today we went on a 26km canoe trip down "New River", the only river in the US to flow north. It was SUCH a beautiful trip - huge rockfaces surrounding us on all sides. We had breakfast at a restaurant called Cracker Barrel, for a proper southern meal!!! The place contained a bizarre mix of rocking chairs, halloween outfits, lollies and many, many xmas decorations (including the tackiest hanging elvis ever- too cool!) I TRIED GRITS!!!
