We had a long flight and trapper says she was awake for most of it. The bear hibernated.
We arrived in Glasgow and trapper says we quickly learned how to drive on the opposite side of the car and road. I'm not so sure and I was the guy driving. I will say that it was easier then expected but just driving was taking 100% of my attention so Trapper's navigation was very much essential.
We Made it to Edinburgh around 11. And we just finally stopped for the day. It's 7pm and we are getting ready for bed. We are both ready to crash.
We saw holyrood palace and the abbey, the royal mile, st Giles cathedral, and the national gallery of Scotland. The palace was great. The ruined abbey even better. The cathedral was quite good. The national Gallery had a few excellent impressionist paintings. St Giles was amazing considering how long ago it was built.
We found a great place for lunch that cooked a whole pig and we had pulled pork on a bun with haggis and apple sauce. They even had the pig head sitting in the window. Haggis was actually good a bit like hearty stuffing.
Tomorrow we are going to the Edinburgh castle and the royal yacht.
We are exhausted. Zzz zzzzzz good night.
