So today we went to the opening day of Oktoberfest. It was our first day that it rained all day. But we watched the brewers parade went into a few tents. The tents are massive. So we checked into our bnb in Dachau with no problem at all. This morning we went to dachau concentration camp. It was a rather solemn experience. I think it was our last nazi thing of the trip. I will say I am impressed and taken a back by the German approach to this history. They just say what happened and leave it at that. There is no covering things up no soft pedalling apology.
