Kia Ora! Following our blog entry yesterday we had a BBQ for tea. The people who run the hotel that we are staying in cooked it for us- steak, sausages and lots of salad. Kia Ora! We are having a relaxing day today in Wellington as we have a free day! We had a very busy day yesterday- we were up at 6am for breakfast and left our hotel in Christchurch at 7am for a 5 and half hour drive north to catch a ferry that took us from the South Island to the North Island. Kia Ora Since we wrote last we left Queenstown and travelled to Fox Glacier - where we did a four hour hike up through the rainforest and ended up on the Glacier itself! We had to wear crampons to ensure we didnt slip about on the snow / ice. It was really cool and as you can see we have added some pictures. It was also surprisingly warm up there too.
