Breakfast the same, except we came down to the restaurant and scored the best table, just like we had for dinner. The service of staff was 11/10. So friendly and willing. The quad bike was fun. This morning's breakfast was equally as good as the first. The sun was warm and we really felt like celebrities ourself staying here. Today we were to check out and move down the road to their sister hotel, Kirini Suites & Spa. The transition was effortless. Very similar, just more steps and less pool staff. Relaxing by the pool again this afternoon. It's hard to really understand how good our location is. We didn't want to move. It almost didn't feel real....

We awoke this morning after a sleep in, phoned room service for breakfast and just as I hopped out of the shower there was a knock at the door. Our food was being set up out the front of our door, next to our private sun lounge bed and I nearly lost my breath when I stepped outside and saw the view again. Santorini is essentially what remains after an enormous volcanic explosion that destroyed a formerly single island, and created a giant central rectangular lagoon. It is surrounded by 300 m high, steep cliffs on three sides. The caldera being 400m deep makes it possible for all but the largest ships to anchor anywhere in the protected bay.
