Jane How fun to share same experiences with parents/in-laws. You'll have plenty to talk about when you get home. Not long now. Didn't know garlic was considered frustose. Learn something new every day. See you in less than a week. Love u. xxx
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceJane Motor bike riding sounds so fun, romantic too! I presume Sean didn't have the tomatoes. What was his 'instead' choice? xxx
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceJane P.S. Can't believe Sean went for the fish and not the lamb. Even more unbelievable was that Sean shared the cheese. The man who doesn't like sharing his food! xxx
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceJane The prawn and angel hair sounds sumptuous. Maybe at home you/we can make sea bass wrapped in angel hair pasta! Yum. xxx
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceMum Neal & I were in Santorini 30/7/09 and I understand how the view takes your breath away. We had lunch at the Mylos cafe near the wind mill! Neal persuaded me to take the donkey ride down, far more scarier than taking the ride up, but definitely worthwhile just for the experience. You will love Mykanos, check out Little Venice, lots of little shops and cocktail bars. We had lunch at Katerina's in Little Venice, sitting on a balcony suspended over the Sea. Im sure you will come across the famous pelican being fed regularly at the port. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
re: Oia, Santorini, GreeceJane Oh my goodness. What a life! Greece looks simply stunning. You both must be getting fit by now - all that up hill walking. Hugs from me and wags from Sasha xx
