Today we went on a full day tour round the jungle. We got on a boat and were taken a couple of hours down a river to get to the Tambopata national reserve. This morning we took a flight from Lima to Puerto Maldonado. We arrived at the Anaconda Lodge and were shown to our cabin, this was massive, had two floors and slept 6 people! The lodge had 4 baby monkeys which are so cute and friendly. You can pick them up and they come and sit on your lap for cuddles! At lunch we met a girl called Lizzie who was travelling alone. We arrived in Lima at about 10:30am and my cousin was waiting for us at the bus terminal along with my mum's friend who kindly offered to take us on a city tour in his car seeing as we only had one day before we set off for the jungle. This morning we arrived in Piura after a uncomfortable overnight bus. My Uncle Chollo and cousin Ana Paula collected from the bus stop and gave us some breakfast.
