Day 10 Coober Pedy to Erldunda (481kms / 6hrs)

We were up at 6am to get organised and on the road at 7:30am. We saw a lot of wild horses and cattle on the drive. We fuelled at Marla and continued along the stuart highway. We then spotted a lot of wedged tailed eagles and buzzards along the side of the road. We fuelled at Kulgera and arrived at Erldunda Roadhouse at 1:30pm. We have a great grassed sure under a shady tree. We set-up, had lunch, did some washing, made some phone calls and then went for a walk around the park. They have 2 camels, 3 kangaroos, a rooster, an emu farm and birds. The kids had a great afternoon playing with lots of other kids at the playground, tennis courts, riding bikes and looking at all the animals. We had marinated chicken & salad for dinner then enjoyed a drink at the sunset viewing platform overlooking the camels and watching the sun set for the evening. The kids played spotlight with their friends and then it was time for showers and bed.
