Today we had our final presentations to our client. Taylor and I were both pretty nervous but anxious to get it over with. At the end of our presentations, our teachers told us that our client asked the most questions out of any other group. Which could mean 1 of 2 things: it absolutely sucked and they have no idea whats going on, or that they are very interested and wanted to know more. Our teachers told us that they were really interested. The client stayed with us for about an hour after our presentations and asked more in depth questions. He was mainly interested in Taylor's Facebook recommendation and my group's QR Code recommendation.
During Taylor's presentation I was sitting behind one of the head faculty members and he gave her an A-. J I'm interested to see what my grade is.
After our presentations it was time to get ready for our closing banquet at Portonovo. Our GCP group was going to a nice seafood restaurant on the water. There the Italian students received "OU Diplomas" for their completion of the program and the Italian students designed a t shirt for us as a gift from them. We ended our dinner at Portonovo and headed out to the beach for a long picture taking session, which you can see in our GCP album.
After dinner the students went out one last time before departure in the morning. We had some drinks in Plaza del Papa and then headed to a club on the water. We stayed out till around 3am. Bad decision considering we had an early train the next morning, but whatever. It was worth it. It was sad to say goodbye to all the Italian students. We have never felt more welcome. They were such good hosts to us it was unreal.
Tomorrow we leave for Venice, and we're very excited---although sad to leave our new friends L
