Today was our last day on our bus tour and we went to Pompeii. We had a private tour that led us through the ruins and it was really cool to see the remains. They had skeletal remains on display as well. Pompeii had an odd obsession with penises. Apparently a penis with wings symbolizes fertility and a lot of people wear them around their necks. Weird?!? We are now headed back to Florence where we will spend the night and then we are off to Ireland tomorrow!!
