Hi Everyone Well we haven't done too badly killing time in Christchurch- we were told by numerous Kiwi's that it is the most boring city in New Zealand, so when we found out we had 4 days here- we weren't too thrilled. We woke up to black sky and pouring rain and then snow- not what we had hoped for! The Kiwi Bus turned up 45mins late- there had been a huge dump of snow between Queenstown and Te anau and it very nearly didn't make it to us. The journey to Milford was eventful, the roads became quite snowy as we got nearer so we had to stop and put the chains on. We stopped off at Shearing South which a museum for sheep shearing, and it was run by a man who had been a cheep shearer for 35yrs.
