Relaxed for a couple of hours after breakfast this morning as had a bit of time before leaving for the Shotover jet. But once we got there we were told it was cancelled due to heavy rain last night and this morning. Was gutted. Never mind!

Went for a short walk instead before having lunch at this famous Fergburger place. Honestly, I had one of the best burgers in my life, amazing! The man who served me knew some sign language so it was nice to talk to someone who could sign a bit!

Went to the Kiwi and Birdlife park in the afternoon. The Kiwi is bigger than I thought it was! Wasn't allowed to take photos of them though unfortunately as they are nocturnal birds so they were kept in the dark behind the glass so it would be impossible to take any decent photos anyway. Saw various birds and one or ego other animals. Saw a conservation show too. Some of these birds are so clever!

Took a cable car up to the top of the mountain. No way was I walking all the way up lol! Beautiful views. Freezing though so decided to have a hot chocolate to warm me up whilst I was up there to make the most of my time up there too.

Had a nice relaxing evening just talking. Just what I need as got a long day tomorrow.
