After breakfast we headed to a small town, Arrowtown which isn't far from Queenstown. Explored for a bit but there wasn't much to see really! Went into a sweet shop that was doing free fudge tasting so tried some which were so nice. Bought some as I felt I should after having tried a few.
Hired a bike and went for a bike ride from Arrowtown to the Kawarau Bridge, where the world's first commercial bungee operation is. There were lots of hills and narrow paths and it was hard work but quite fun. It started raining towards the end. Bikes are definitely not my thing lol! Was so glad to have reached the end at least!
Headed to a town called Cromwell for lunch. It's the furthest town from the coast in New Zealand.
Headed to Lake Ohau after to check in our lodge. I was meant to be sharing with another girl, Albee but they made a mistake with the rooms so we ended up getting our own rooms, yay!
Had a lovely home cooked meal, lasagne for dinner. Brownies for pudding which wasn't all that good, nothing beats my mum's brownies lol!
Paid £2.50 for 50mb of internet and it was all gone in 10 minutes! What a waste! Never mind! In New Zealand you usually have to pay for wifi whereas in South America it was mostly free. I would have thought it would be the other way round!
