Now I am roughly half way of my "Mekong Delta Meandering" tour. I have cycled two days from Ho Chi Minh City and am now in the unofficial capital of Mekong delta i.e. city of Can Tho. Today I rode 104 km without proper breakfast or lunch, so I need a heavy dinner later today. In general the cycling has been very pleasant here in ultimately flat delta area. Weather also has been good for cyclig for these two days it has been cloudy, but practically no rain. Yesterday afternoon I did some tourinsm by hiring a boat for a few hours to see some locations on the other side of Mekong and the islands opposite of My Tho. It costed me more than I had wished for, but it was somewhat interesting anyway. I for example got a picture of myself with python on my shoulders.

I will be riding two more days along Mekong towards the Cambodian border and then I plan to take a boat to Pnom Penh from the border town of Chau Doc. If everything goes as planned I will leave Vietnam Wednesday November 25th.
