Now I am back in Kuala Lumpur and I have taken my passport to the Indian Visa Center and paid for the visa. Tomorrow evening I can pick it back. Later today I plan to go to Air Asia office to buy a flight ticket to Colombo for Thursday morning. Hi again! As I was on "holiday" in Phuket I did not actively update this blog as there was nothing special happening there. Now I have been again on the road for three days.Since Phuket I have travelled by bus about 25 hours. First I travelled to Kuala Lumpur where I spent two nights in one of the cheap hotels in Chinatown and applied for the Indian visa. Last day in Georgetown is on its way as tomorrow morning at 5.00 I will start my busride to Phuket. I have enjoyed this place as it is almost like my whole trip in one small place. The old town of Georgetown is on the UNESCO World Heritage list so there is a lot of interesting architecture here. As this used to be the first British colonial outpost in this region the city has vibrant Chinese, Indian, Malay and Arabic population with their cultures, cuisines etc....

I am now in capital of Penang, Georgetown. I found a Guesthouse for the next couple of nights. I do not have Cellular data service yet. I have also problems charging my phone due to British style power outlets here.It is also public holiday today here, so very few places are open, but I can manage with 711 and other similar establishments.
