Luckily I set my alarm for 9:40am as we would've all slept in after check out otherwise. When I got up to take a shower the room was spinning a little and Adam was awake but the other two were fast asleep. As it was getting towards 10am I stripped the beds and took the key back to reception so that we wouldn't be charged. At 10:30am we eventually left the hostel and headed to town to have some breakfast.
I then drove the car along the Great Ocean road. We stopped off at Bay of Islands which are a collection of rocks in the sea and are really picturesque. Our next stop was London Bridge which is now an island on it's own as it has broken away from the mainland. The next stop was Loch Ard Gorge which has a national park and a beach and some caves. Then we stopped at the Twelve Apostles. There are only 7 1/2 left as the others have eroded and they are such a wonderful sight.
After that we stopped at Apollo Bay and played rugby and we had a forfeit of whoever dropped the ball until they spelt the word sea (so three times) had to swim in the sea - which was really cold! Finlay dropped it three times first so he got undressed and because I'd thrown it to him and hadn't been very good I said that I'd come in a bit with him. The waves were really big so I ended up getting really wet. Finlay decided to pick me up and put me in the water but I clinged on for dear life so that I didn't properly go in. We then played volleyball.
Our next stop was Lorne which is a really pretty seaside town with lots of lovely restaurants and cafe's. We had dinner there and then drove another hour and a half back to Melbourne. It was such a scenic drive with beautiful views of the ocean.
We got back to Melbourne at 9pm and Jimmy headed back to where he was staying and because he is staying at a friend's parent's house Finlay and Adam said that I could stay at their appartment. We started watching a film and then as I was so tired I laid down on their sofa and fell straight to sleep.
