In the morning Orla made us scrambled eggs and then we drove to the Champagne pools. We all took it in turns to drive and I gave it a go driving out of the camp. It's quite hard to get it into gear and the steering is really different but it's fun too.
The Champagne Pools are like hot tubs made out of rock with the ocean behind it. Every so often when a big wave comes the pools get full of sea water and you get soaked by the spray. The water was really cold but it was fun to be in there. It was quite strange when it started raining but if you're going to get wet you might as well be in the water! There were some guys who must have been on a stag do who were all in suits and they got in the water with them on. Then there was a guy with the teeniest swimming pants in the world - it did not leave much to the imagination!
We then got back in the cars and drove to a massive sand dune. We had to climb up it which was a mission as it was almost vertical. Once we got to the top it was worth it though as we had really good views. To get to the bottom me and one of the other girls jumped most of the way down, which was fun.
We stopped at Eli Creek on the way back which has a bridge and steps down to it and you wade through the water which leads down towards the sea. We played volleyball in the water.
For dinner we cooked a stir fry and then our group played drinking games again with some cards. I lost once and had to down some goon, which was not fun, but at least I wasn't Steph, who had to do it three times! Everyone else at the camp had peaked the night before so all went to bed before 10pm but our group stayed up for a few more hours. Whilst we were dancing a couple of dingoes, who we'd been warned can be dangerous as they are wild dogs, walked through our camp but whether it was the bad singing or dancing they left us well alone!
