Just a quick message as I'm just at Singapore airport and only have 4 mins remaining on my time. Just getting ready to go to Sydney.

Had a good day yesterday - wandered round the Arab, Little India and Chinatown areas which were really interesting. Ate some good food and spent a leisurely afternoon round the Botanical Gardens where I got chatting to a German guy who is studying in Singapore so him and I wandered round the park together for an hour or so, which was nice. Then headed to Orchard Road which is famous for shopping - I have never seen so many shopping malls in all my life...it's just a shame I haven't got the space in my bag otherwise I would've had a field day! Probably just as well I think as I'd probably spend all my travel money otherwise! Spent the evening shopping and having a curry from a Hawker Centre -a bargain 3 pounds for a curry and naan!
