Day 27 Cologne Well wew finally got a fantastic sunny day to finish out adventures in Europe. We started the morning with a bike ride along the river- yes even I rode a bike. There are no helmets and we only hire the bikes for an hour but it is well worth the money to be able to see things at a faster pace. Day 25 Cologne Another day of travelling through the German countryside. There were lots of things to look at, abandoned castles, wind farms, normal farms, woods and villages. We caught the ICE train, which is the fastest trains in Germany. The one we were on was travelling at over 300km/hr. Day 25 Leipzig This morning we woke to rain, quite heavy rain. It rained consistently through breakfast, which we had in the breakfast room in the basment. It is German breakfast. Small choices of cereal, breads and cold meats with tomato, cheeses, cucumber and also yoghurt and boiled eggs. They also have juice and tea or coffee. An interesting line up.
