Day 17 Venice A beautiful sun shiny day greeted us this morning with temperatures of about 28 degrees. The humidity is fairly high but it does feel like summer. The place we are staying has a lovely 3rd floor breakfast room with views of the roof tops and we have croissants and fruit for breakfast. Day 16 (i think) Venice Starting to lose track of the days now, especially after today when we travelled on nearly every form of transport devised by man. We started the day finishing off our Paris sightseeing by catching the metro to Montmatre and then the Funiculaire railway to the top where the Basilica Sacre Coeur stands.
