Day 25
Cologne
Another day of travelling through the German countryside. There were lots of things to look at, abandoned castles, wind farms, normal farms, woods and villages. We caught the ICE train, which is the fastest trains in Germany. The one we were on was travelling at over 300km/hr. It was running 10 minutes late and made up the time so we still arrived in Cologne on time.
We are staying in a quaint apartment overlooking a square near the river Rhine. It is interesting but has an old time feel to it.
Tomorrow we will go exploring and then Tuesday we need to catch the train at 6:20am for our flight from Frankfurt.
We are nearly finished Europe and are looking forward to a rest in Singapore. Although the train trips have been time for us to chill a bit.
