ok so got more time on the internet.

so after a stressful time in the airport i arrived at the hostel. The hostel was quite nice, but i loved it because i had an ensuite bathroom. so felt like i was in heaven. after settling into the hostel i decided to take myself for a walk around Miraflore (small town in lima), and took a map with me. Thought i might head to an area called San Antonio, But do you think i was able to read the map!!!!!!!! well no, got lost again!!!! but as i got lost i bumped into two girls from cheltenham walking down the road and ended up spending the rest of the day with them. We went to the cinema and watched Slumdog Millionare. and thought it was absoultely amazing. In the eve i had a meal at the hostel and ended up playing a game of Beer poker (with vodka instead), and got a little bit merry.

Next day i took myself to San antonio area for dinner and yes i did find it this time!!! (well done me) and then went for a walk along the clifts overlooking the seafront (the sea in lima is not very nice, so i would not swim in it).The view was stunning and there were loads of parks to walk through. so i enjoyed myself plus there was a new shopping centre over looking the sea (pretty breath taking). Really enjoyed my walk along the sea front, however, as i was walking along, a peruvian guy cycled past me and started to talk to me in spanish . i obviously didnt respond, so he got off his bike and started walking next to me talkignto me in english. After about 2 hours i finally got rid of him!!!!!!!!! In the eve i went to the bar and entered into a pub quiz with two english guys and we came last with 7 out of 40 points!!!!!!!

On tues i decided to work on my tan and took myself down to the beach for bout 5 hours of sunbathing!!! On my way back to the hostel i stopped off at a hand-made pervuian market and saw loads and loads of hat!!!!!! and other stuff. After the market i mad it back to watch the liverpool- sunderland match, which is always refreshing to watch. In the eve i headed up to the hostel bar and decided to have one drink!!!! do you think i just had one!!! no i ended up going to a club and rolled home at 6 am!!! had such a good time though.

In the morning that was not so much fun, as had to get up for 12 to check out as i was heading into the city to start my tour. during the day i chilled at the hostel and sunbathed as it was soooooo hot (not a cloud in the sky), and then over to the city. The two guys i did the pub quiz came over in the taxi to the hotel with me to make sure i was safe. As we aaived over here about 6 was decided to go out for dinner and see the city all lit up in its beauty. I must say the centre of mia is Beautiful!!!!! After dinner the boys headed back to the hostel and i stayed in and watched tv!!!!!! was feeling little sad to say good bye to the boys. Thats the prob with travelling. you met some really cool people and have such a great time and then you have to say good bye!!!

Today i spent the day just walking around the city and seeing the beauty in day light, and it was beautiful. Tonight is going to be a very early night for me as i have discovered i have to get a flight from lima to Cuzco (to start the inca trail) at 4am in the morning!!! so going to get dinner and then bed. Begining to quite like south america and am def warming to using spanish.
