Ok so i think i yest was the longest day of my life!!!!!! and my body clock is all over the place. The reason for this is because i flew into Santiago. I left New Zealand at 5.30 pm of 25th Feb and arrived at Santiago 12.30pm 25th. So lets just say yest was a real struggle.

When the plane landed i was sooooo nervous and just wanted to get back on the next plane to come home. On my flight over from new zealand i was sat next a German guy, and we decided to get a taxi together to the city. which calmed me down and put my mind to rest. After arriving in Santiago it took me 1 hour to get through immigration. Thought i was going to pass out as it was sooooooo hot and no air con. Once through i caught a taxi to my hostel. The hostel in which i am staying in is lovely. Its an old house and has a swimming pool and Bar in it. so it quite useful if you just want a chilled day.

Once settled into the hostel i decided to investigate the city. However, this did not prove to be as easy as it seemed. it took me bout an hour to find the city which is strange as its only a 2 min walk from my hostel. Think it was because i was very tired and found it challenging to read my map!!!!!!!!! have discovered how blonde i actually am. From my first view of the city it seemed very lovely, and kind of european town.

After bout 2 hours of investigating the city i headed back to the hostel and went out for dinner as i was way too tired to cook. found it very strange sat in a resturant by myself. Eventually got to bed bout 10 o'clock and slept through to 9 in the morning.

This morning i thought it would be a good idea to investigate the town even more. but once again i got lost. must still be tired. anyway spent most of the day walking round the town, checking out the beautiful old buildings and parks. Santiago is a very beautiful town, and i do feel fairly safe here, apart from all the pervy out men. but hey i'm in south america, what do i expect. The rest of the day was sat by the pool, chilling, relaxing and working on the tan. as it is soooo hot here.
