ok so i´m now in peru and have been here for about 1 day.
my time in santiago was interesting as i found it a little hard to adjust to a place that does not speak any spanish. however, if you like your starbucks then your sorted here as there are 10+!!!

so on my third day i was going to go to the beach however, i slept in till half 11 and so thought it was a little late to go. so that day i just lay by the hostel pool sunbathing and ventured into the town to get some lunch. I was very proud of myself as i ordered a subway in spanish. so well done me!!!! that evening i had a bbq at the hostel and met a few people. I only planned to have one drink. however, since i´ve been travelling you never have one. I met some really cool people and had some very very random conversation (which i couldn´t really remember until i was reminded the next morning) and ended rolling into bed at bout half 3 (which is early for south america).

Next morning i was woken up by my alarm clock going off at 9 o´clock, which left me a bit confused as i never set it anymore and realised (that evening) that i had agreed to go wine tasting!!!!!!!! (seemed such a good idea when i was drunk) . however, the guys had got the timing wrong and so we missed the tour (which is a good thing). that day i chilled in the city, went out for lunch and found an irish bar to watch the rugby game. in the eve i went out for a mexican which then led to more drinks!!!!

next morning i had to get up at 4.30 as i had to catch a flight to lima, which proves to be quite a challenge when you only get in a 2!!!! This day proved to poss be the worst day of my travelling experience yet. reason for this is because had a flight at 7 in the morning and when i turned up they claimed i had no booking and i wasn´t on the flight. so was very very very stressed out by that. so after an hour of them searching the computers they said i had to pay for a new ticket. at this point i´m in bloody tears not knowing what to do. and agreed to pay for a new ticket. but they eventually found me on the computer system!!! so stressed!!!!

so eventually arrive in lima and get collected by a crazy taxii driver, driving in south america is very interesting. (have run out of time on the internet so will update tomorrow!!!!)
