ok so since i´ve added my last entry i have been soooooooo ill. After the inca trail we had a day in cusco heading around the sacred valley. It was a nice day. however, we spent a whole day going to see loads of inca ruins. I kinda think when you seen them for 4 days you kinda had enough!!!!!! anyhow, for lunch we went to a rest and had a sit down dinner with the rest of the group (after me and tarcey got lost in the market). here the food they cooked for me tasted really funny but i ate it as they cooked it especially for me (as the fact i don´t eat chicken). after this meal we headed to anther inca place which was very beautiful and the a farm where we played a frog game. the farm was nice, however there were loads of guinea pugs and you kinda know twhat they are going to do with them.

From that moment on i was ill!!!!!!!!!! i was stuck in bed for the next 12 hours (being violently sick at times) just wanted be home at that point. but tracey (my room mate was fab).

next morning i had to fly from cusco to the jungle. Didn´t really see much of the plne journey as spent alot of time in the toilet!!!! have food poisioning in south america is not fun when the toilets are squaters!!!!!
after an hour and half boat journey along the river we arrived at our lodge which was a little hut along the river. It was very beautiful!!!! in the after noon i went to monkey island and saw about 5 different species of monkeys!!!! luckly no monkey landed on my head. In the eve we went crocodile hunting and saw about 6 crocodile in the river. which isn´t alot as the river was very high. Everyone was in bed by bout 9 as we had limited electricity and goes off at 9pm!!!

int he morning we went for a walk in the jungle. however, i didin´t enjoy it as i was soooooo poorly. found it very very very hot and you have to wear long clothes due to the misquitos. which was very hard work. we saw 3 different types of frogs, A wild pig, snakes, and several different types of spiders. in the afternoon we went fishing along the river and a snake almost landed in our boat. was pretty scared!!!!

today we flew home , but am feeling bit funny due to the altitude again. Going to hit the markets now and hopefully not spent tooo much.
