After a late start post yesterdays Yosemite excursion we mooched around a little, checked out the local Walmart & headed to Oakland airport for our 2.30 flight to Dallas

Flight left on time, southwest have an unusual boarding system first to check in gets on first & no seats are allocated, you get what's available when you board.

The flight went first to Albuquerque then on to Dallas, well that was the plan.........

As we approached Dallas there was a severe thunder storm which meant we couldn't land so we diverted to Austin. It was a bonus to those who were heading there after Dallas but for us it was a couple of hours delay for us. After an hour or so on the tarmac we got the all clear & took to the skies again landing safely at Dallas love airport. A quick taxi ride to the hotel and that was us for the day, nothing too exciting to report today.
