We were invited down to Broken Head, by Helen Stahmann and her daughter Shirley for a week end catch up with some old school friends of Sue's. Drove down Friday and came home Monday - the whales swam by, the beach was empty and the wind was fresh - however we had a full and rich time. We picked up the new Mazda BT50 on the Tuesday - it was rush job - so we just took the standard tray. We realise that in due course we will probably replace this tray with a more robust offering. Got away from the Warrumbungles and via Coonabarrabran headed to Gilgandra and some place called Nevertire - I had NEVERheard of the place before - we hit the Barrier Highway and started the long trek towards Broken Hill.
