Got away from the Warrumbungles and via Coonabarrabran headed to Gilgandra and some place called Nevertire - I had NEVERheard of the place before - we hit the Barrier Highway and started the long trek towards Broken Hill.

We stayed at Warren at a small caravan park where I replaced the headlight bulb for low beam - not sure I have nailed the problem - we will see. Two young kids had a lamb called Bob - that they were feeding - their dad is a drover and away on a job and they live with their mum in a caravan - well that will be a childhood to remember.

We got away early the enxt morning and reached Nevertire, turned onto the highway running West and did a lunch stop in Cobar. Interesting place. I made a mistake and mis judged our fuel, so when we got 25k out of town we found we could not make Willcania so we doubled back and refuelled.

We stayed in a small camping ground just East of Willcannia - which is very nice. The next day we did some photographs for the park and then headed West - we hit a light rain storm about 75k East of Broken Hill. It had hit 40 degrees and high 30's all the way across, but none the less it was a good ride and we were still quite happy to spend a few days looking around Broken Hill.
