Friday 18th December 2015 We pick up the trailer finally - all is well - we now have a helper spring on the back tailgate so it is quite acceptable to be lifted by one person - and maybe a second spring would not be out of place. Thursday 17th December We are close to the top left hand corner of Tanglemania now. Mal looks across the bay to the North and he can see the windfarms near Cape Grim. We fill Vicki with water and watch a Pacific Gull cracking shells for breakfast, by dropping them from 100 feet or so onto the rocks below. Strahan on the other hand is an upbeat little town. Yes it is built on Macquarie Harbour, which is a splendid harbor.
