Day three in Langkawi and I moved accommodation to the Zachary guest house in the next town from where I was previously.
The weather has so far been kind "touch wood" with the main problem being humidity.
I spent the day on a beautiful white sandy beach (pictured) and had some much needed relaxation after the madness of Ko Phan Ngan & Ko Phi Phi.
It didn't take long to meet new people after parting ways with the 3 lads I stayed with. Within no time at all, I was chatting to a Scottish bloke called James and before we knew it, we'd formed a sizeable possy.
We played a few games of poker in the common area. "loose cannon" suffered his first defeat but soon got back on track by winning the second game.
Everyone enjoyed themselves as we moved on to Sun Bar, Lankawi's answer to a club.
One things for sure, Langkawi is certainly quieter than Thailand, but it's a welcome break.
Today a few of us are planning to hire scooters and take a little tour of the island.
