After our 16 hour journey from bangkok and previous journey from Chiang Mai which took another 14 hours we arrived at the destination for the Full Moon Party, Koh Phang nagn. Our first day we spent getting burnt on the beach next to our hotel which was cool, we could just role out on to the beach. First night we really went on was to Hat Rin the home of the full moon party and oh my god the amount of blondes,there were thousands of them paradise, we also found the famous buckets, well thats all i can remember of that night, nah it was a good night met some good people Kevin, he was rather funny. Another night was spent watching some Thai boxing which was cool to start off with however once you watch 6 fights in a row it starts to get a bit boring but the locals love it. The next night we thought was going to be the full moon party, however the king banned alcohol due to it being a Buddha day, so instead we bought our own drink and got most of the other people in the hotels to have our own party on the beach, drinking games, dares and lots more activities through the night - great fun. Ahhh, the day of the full moon party at last, we started drinking about 8ish and got to Hat Rin about 10ish and the party begun, oh my god thousands of people everywhere, dancing, drinking and lots more which i could not say on a public website. There was a rather large group of us from our hotel so we got on it right away, Singha and buckets all night long. Dan painted everyones face with illuminous paint, you could see his handy work everywhere. We also met dans cousin Chirs and Andy who he was travelling with, they were a good laugh. I started chatting to some swedish bird who was living at our hotel, however she was not please that we woke her up at god knows what time the night before DOH!!! she also spillt my bucket, you could say we fell out, her loss. Anyway the party went on all night and proberly went on till the late hours of the next day however i got home about 6ish and dan and matt party till about 7ish we think. A very gooooooooood night, one to remember and return to in the future. However sadly the next morning we were travelling to Phuket, great fun that was.
