Hello from Singapore, after our eventfull adventure from Krabi, we eventually arrived in Singapore. On our way across the boarder from Thailand tho, we were sitting on our great minibus and moments before dan had thought he recognised this bloke, he thought it was Espen Baardsen who use to play for Spurs and Norway. Would you believe it, on the next minibus we got on, which was few, we were sitting next to him and his rather lovely girlfriend. We ended up chatting to him all the way to Penang where he got dropped off and we got dumped some where in Malaysia. We eventually got our quote "VIP" bus, which didnt even have a toilet. Anyway we got to the boarder of Singapore and to our luck we got dumped at the boarder and told to get to singapore ourselves, just what you need at about 5am, so we had to get a local bus through the boarder and make our way into the centre of singapore. We eventually made it to some accomodation, called Ah Chew, opposite the Yuk Hee food house. What a room 2 and half beds and 4 walls. We had a look around the city, which was very clean, new and beautiful however it was so expensive, like about 3 pound for half a coke and the food was not cheap ever. We didnt do alot really, but we did go to the Singapore zoo which was pretty cool seeing loads of animals and most in there natural habitat, and we even got to see them being fed. After that we stayed there for the Night Safari, which was way cooler that the day zoo and caught a show with loads of animals doing tricks and all and that went on till about 12 at night. Our last day in singapore was spent looking around the town and at Raffles Hotel which was a very upper class hotel in league with the Ritz and many quality hotels, we were not aloud in to start of with as we were not wearing the proper attire. However is was a pretty dame good hotel. The of the day we spent walking around a lot of shops and then we had to make our way on the very clean and tidy underground to the airport for Darwin.
