Steve goes travelling
Work Started work as a 'paralegal' at Freehills which is one of their big firms over here....unfortunately unlike home 'paralegal' here doesn’t mean you actually do something good it means you become an expert in scanning, photocopying, paginating (putting numbered stickers on things) and data entry. The department im in is made up of about 20 other travellers and a few ozzies, all the travellers are English with a few Irish and its a really cool place to work. Sometimes I can be in work in 30 mins or so and after doing the bridge walk I was told by the girl there that my building was in the Matrix films!!! (Sam was impressed! geek). The company also has work drinks upstairs on level 38 where you can get views of the whole city, opera house, bridge, SCG etc and its any drink free from 5-8 and sometimes later, also its import beers which are pretty expensive over here and not the crap Tooheys New or whatever that you normally get! (many a night started off here and then on to one of their RSL's (Foreign Legion equivalent - but they’re cool here, and still cheap!) woo
