Burra, South Australia
Burra is a historic town where there is an abundance of perfectly preserved buildings dating back to the 1850's. This town was the largest inland town in Australia until the 1860's when gold was discovered in Ballarat and Bendigo. It was also Australia's biggest copper mine and at one stage supplied 5% of the worlds total copper.
