Steve and Joannes Winter Escape
We had decided to head north back into the Flinders Ranges for a few days as the weather was a bit cool in the south. We had originally planned to track the coast back to Melbourne but a cold front has moved in and the forecast is for showers and cool weather further south. Here in Quorn we are back into the mid 30's, so our plan now is to head to Burra and the Barossa.
Quorn is a quite little town, with the main attraction being the Pichi Richi Railway but unfortunately it was not running on the days we had planned to be there. Instread we did a nice little 5.2 klm hike into Warren Gorge. We also stopped at this massive Red Gum tree estimated to be more than 500 years old.
