Cape Leveque is 200 klms north of Broome. We had heard that it was amazing, however it was advised that the road was not suitable for caravans. Broome is a strange town as it is in two halves. You have Broome and then you have Cable Beach and then you have the airport which seperates the two halves. The airport effectively runs right through the middle. First off was the sunset on Cable Beach. It was spectacular. Horizontal Falls can only be described as spectacular. We had a fantastic day. First was a short trip to the Derby airport where we took off in a 14 seater sea-plane. After a 40 minute flight we landed on the water in Talbot Bay. We then jumped into a 900hp boat for a blast in and out of the horizontal falls. (you must google these). We left Halls Creek with about 300klms ahead of us to Fitzroy Crossing. My first surprise on these 2 towns was how small they actually are. I'm sure most people have heard of these places but they are really small.
